Urs Cete

Urs Cete is the Managing Partner at Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI) based in New York, New York. Since assuming this position in October 2006, he has overseen the corporate venture capital unit's strategic investments across the software-as-a-service and digital media sectors. Previously, he served as the Director of Corporate Controlling and Strategy at Bertelsmann AG from August 2004 to November 2006. Throughout his tenure, he has held numerous board governance positions, currently serving as a board member for Percent since May 2023 and boostr since June 2018, following past directorships at Skimlinks and CrowdTwist. His executive education includes completing programs in strategy and data science principles through Harvard Business School and Harvard Online in 2023 and 2024. Cete focuses on leveraging corporate venture capital to support emerging technology and media companies through transformational industry shifts.
