Uri Kolodny

Uri Kolodny is the Co-Founder and a Board Member of StarkWare, a prominent Ethereum Layer 2 scaling company. He co-founded the blockchain technology firm in 2018 alongside Eli Ben-Sasson and served as its Chief Executive Officer until stepping down in January 2024 for family health reasons. During his tenure as CEO, Kolodny helped StarkWare secure $200 million in funding from major institutional investors including Coatue and Tiger Global. Before entering the cryptocurrency sector, he co-founded the MIT optical fiber spinoff OmniGuide and the data visualization startup Mondria, while also working as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Greylock. Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hebrew University and a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan. His current focus remains on advancing zero-knowledge rollup technologies and advising early-stage technology ventures such as Certora.
