Ulric Leung

Ulric Leung is a Partner at Lever VC based in Hong Kong, where he specializes in early-stage investments within the food and agriculture technology sectors. Before joining the venture capital firm, he held senior financial roles, serving as a Director at Deutsche Bank and as a Managing Director at Crosby Securities. He also served as the Vice Chair of Venture Smart Asia, building a strong foundation in institutional finance and asset management. At Lever VC, which was founded in 2018 alongside Managing Partner Nick Cooney, Leung helps oversee a global pipeline that tracks more than 6,000 companies. He notably signed as a Director of the General Partner for Lever VC Fund I LP in October 2021. His current investment focus centers on sustainable food systems, specifically targeting alternative proteins, novel ingredients, and crop genetics.
