Uciane Scarlett

Uciane Scarlett is a Principal at MPM BioImpact, where she focuses on life sciences venture investing and therapeutics company creation. In this capacity, she manages a venture philanthropy collaboration with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and sits on the board of directors for several stealth-stage portfolio companies. Previously, Scarlett served as a Principal at Oxford Sciences Enterprise, co-leading the life sciences practice and directing early financings for firms like PepGen while holding board seats at companies including Miro Bio. Before that, she worked on the investment team at Atlas Venture, driving operations and company creation for biotech startups such as Dyne Therapeutics and AVROBIO. Holding a doctorate from Dartmouth College, Scarlett leverages over 15 years of oncology experience to identify and support early-stage biotech investments ranging from $100,000 to $5 million in novel therapeutics and cancer immunology.
