Tyrone Davis III

Tyrone Davis III is the Co-Founder and CEO of Miyagi Labs and a Co-Founder and Board Member of Zeta Charter Schools, based in New York City. He established Miyagi Labs in 2025 with early financial backing from Y Combinator to develop an artificial intelligence platform that transforms standard video content into interactive courses for SAT and exam preparation. Prior to his current entrepreneurial ventures, Davis worked at the New York investment firm Saba Capital and founded The Gift of Chess, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding global youth chess education. He received his higher education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he formally studied both computer science and mathematics.
