Tyler Tringas

Tyler Tringas is the General Partner at Earnest Capital, an early-stage investment fund, and is currently based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Before transitioning to venture capital, the former cleantech economist operated as a self-taught software developer and founded StoreMapper, a software-as-a-service application built specifically for the Shopify ecosystem. He bootstrapped the startup without external capital, scaling it to generate between $40,000 and $50,000 in monthly recurring revenue with a five-person team before successfully selling the business in 2017. Following this exit, the former Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree established Earnest Capital to provide alternative financing and mentorship from a dedicated network of approximately 30 experienced founders and operators. His current investment strategy focuses on supplying initial product-stage capital to independent early-stage SaaS founders and supporting the long-term growth of profitable, bootstrapped software enterprises.
