Tyler Thompson

Tyler Thompson is the Managing Partner at Second Century Ventures and its REACH accelerator, based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. In this role, he sources and evaluates early to mid-stage technology investments across the residential and commercial real estate sectors, leveraging the backing of the National Association of REALTORS® and its 1.4 million members. Prior to his venture capital career, Thompson spent over two decades as an operator and founder, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of publicly traded Avalon Digital Marketing Systems and CaptureQuest. He also held executive positions at Deductr and the Business Software Alliance, and previously worked with BitTorrent as the platform scaled past 100 million users. Thompson currently focuses on funding and mentoring emerging startups that introduce new usage models and global standards to the broader real estate technology ecosystem.
