Tyler Lancaster

Tyler Lancaster is a Partner and Co-Head of Ventures at Energize Capital, where he leads venture investment activity and portfolio management across the climate technology sector. Prior to his current role, he worked at Accenture Strategy, shaping business models and advising Fortune 500 electric utilities and private equity firms on distributed energy resources, regulatory innovation, and grid modernization. He began his career developing commercial solar photovoltaic systems and energy efficiency projects before earning a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Environmental Engineering as an Egleston Scholar at Columbia University. As an active venture capital investor, Lancaster currently holds corporate board of director seats at several portfolio companies, including Patch, Smartcar, Urbint, and TWAICE. His investment focus remains centered on the intersection of software and the physical world, specifically targeting transportation electrification and modern energy infrastructure.
