Tyler Chen is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Caucus, a Y Combinator-backed artificial intelligence startup developing a specialized customer relationship management platform for government and congressional offices. Prior to founding Caucus, he studied physics and computer science at Yale University, where he conducted academic research in advanced machine learning laboratories and quantum computing environments. Chen previously developed artificial intelligence voice tools for an undisclosed Series D technology startup before partnering with his childhood friend, Amir Farahani, to launch their current enterprise software venture. The founders established Caucus following Farahani's prior success with Turbo Legi, a legislative technology company that was subsequently acquired by the publicly traded data firm FiscalNote (NYSE: NOTE). Chen currently focuses on engineering general-purpose artificial intelligence agents designed to automate and streamline complex legislative workflows for federal government personnel.
