Ty Findley

Ty Findley is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Ironspring Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Austin, Texas. Before launching the firm, he worked as a Design Engineer at Boeing and subsequently held investment roles at GE Ventures, G51 Capital, and Pritzker Group Venture Capital. At Ironspring Ventures, Findley helped raise a $61 million inaugural fund that backed sixteen companies, followed by a $100 million second fund targeting approximately twenty new early-stage investments. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management. Additionally, he is an Oper8tr Alumni and a Kauffman Fellow with over a decade of operational experience. His current investment focus centers on digital industrial innovation across the supply chain, transportation, construction, equipment rental, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
