Tuck Lye Koh

Tuck Lye Koh is the Founding Partner and CEO of Shunwei Capital, a prominent early to growth-stage venture capital firm based in Beijing, China. Under his leadership, the firm manages over $6 billion in assets across multiple funds and has backed major technology companies including Xiaomi, NIO, and Kingsoft Office. Before co-founding Shunwei Capital alongside Lei Jun, he served as Vice President of GIC Special Investments in Beijing and held various institutional investment roles at C.V. Starr, AIG, and Deutsche Bank. Koh earned degrees from the National University of Singapore and Stanford University, and his consistent portfolio performance has earned him multiple appearances on the Forbes Midas List through 2025. His current investment focus centers on funding deep technology, generative artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and robotics startups across the Greater China and Southeast Asian ecosystems.
