Troy Henikoff

Troy Henikoff is the Managing Director at MATH Venture Partners and an adjunct lecturer at Northwestern Kellogg, based in Chicago, Illinois. Before his current roles, he co-founded and served as CEO of SurePayroll from 1999 to 2002, and later co-founded Excelerate Labs, which transitioned into Techstars Chicago in 2010. Over his 30-year career, he has held executive positions including CEO of OneWed.com and President of Amacai, helping scale businesses to a combined valuation exceeding $7 billion. As an investor, he has made more than 28 angel investments and currently holds a board seat at Trainual. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University and a Master of Science in Project Management from Northwestern University. His current focus centers on funding and advising early-stage digital technology companies that possess distinct customer acquisition advantages.
