Tricia Black is the Founder and General Partner at Amplifyher Ventures, a venture capital firm based in New York, New York. Prior to establishing her current firm, she served as the first Vice President of Sales and the seventh employee at Facebook, where she built the initial sales team and advertising business. She previously held executive sales and marketing positions at Student Advantage and Y2M Youth Media and Marketing, and she earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rhode Island. Through Amplifyher Ventures, Black has mobilized over $1 billion into women-founded companies across the pre-seed through Series B stages, and she currently serves on the Women's Leadership Board at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her investment strategy focuses on the consumer and digital health sectors, targeting diverse leadership teams to capitalize on historically underfunded female founders.
