Trevor Mottl

Trevor Mottl is an early-stage venture capital professional currently serving as a Venture Partner at Fusion Fund, a venture capital investment firm focused on deep technology. Prior to his current partnership role, he served as a Managing Director and the Artificial Intelligence lead at the same firm, directing capital toward emerging enterprise AI applications. Before transitioning into venture capital, Mottl built an extensive career in institutional finance and asset management, holding senior positions at major financial institutions including Lazard Asset Management, Merrill Lynch, and Susquehanna International Group. Throughout his career, he has specialized in identifying scalable technologies and evaluating complex data-driven business models across both public and private equity markets. Mottl currently focuses on sourcing and supporting early-stage deep tech and artificial intelligence startups that demonstrate strong technical foundations and long-term market potential.
