Touraj Parang

Touraj Parang is a Managing Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) based in Menlo Park, California. Since joining the venture capital firm in 2004, he has managed over $3 billion in funds and directed more than 50 early-stage investments across the enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity sectors. His extensive portfolio includes prominent technology companies such as Databricks, Stripe, and Carta, and he recently joined the board of SentinelOne in early 2025. Parang also led a $500 million investment in an xAI infrastructure spinout and authored a comprehensive 2024 playbook on enterprise AI adoption. Before assuming his current leadership role, the Stanford University graduate founded Parang Ventures to support emerging technology startups across multiple sectors. Parang currently focuses his efforts on bridging artificial intelligence infrastructure and developer platforms through targeted seed to Series B investments.
