Torsten Löffler

Torsten Löffler is a Senior Investment Manager at High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) based in the Frankfurt am Main region of Germany. Before initially joining the venture capital firm in 2007, he served as a PostDoc at JWG Universität Frankfurt and worked in technical sales support at AVL Deutschland GmbH. He also brings direct operational experience as the Founder and CEO of SynView GmbH from 2000 to 2007. Later, he served as the CEO of linear drive developer EH-D GmbH between 2018 and 2020. At HTGF, which manages approximately €576 million in total capital and is backed by major corporations like Bosch, Siemens, and SAP, he evaluates early-stage technology startups and recently participated in a €15 million Series B financing round for node.energy. His current investment focus centers on deep tech, climate technology, measurement systems, and industrial automation.
