Tony Rosenberg

Tony Rosenberg is a Managing Partner at MPM Capital based in Boston, Massachusetts, where he oversees investments in early-stage biotechnology and therapeutics. Before assuming his current position, he served as a Partner at the firm since 2005 and previously held roles at Highland Capital Partners and JP Morgan. Throughout his tenure, Rosenberg has helped manage over $4 billion in assets and directed key investments into companies such as Kura Oncology, Freenome, and Audentes Therapeutics, which Astellas acquired in 2019. Recognized on the 2022 Forbes Midas List, he recently co-led a $500 million fundraise for MPM BioImpact in 2024 to support new life sciences ventures. Holding an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from MIT, Rosenberg focuses on bridging scientific innovation and commercialization within oncology, immunology, and rare diseases.
