Tony Liu

Tony Liu is a Partner at Costanoa Ventures, where he specializes in early-stage enterprise technology investments. He joined the firm as a Principal in 2019 and was promoted to his current position in 2022 after being recognized as a Business Insider Rising Star. Prior to entering the venture capital industry, Liu worked in product management at Databricks, focusing specifically on the company's Workspace platform. His technical background includes serving as a machine learning engineer at Amazon working on core search ranking algorithms, as well as building the initial identity fraud model for Turo. After earning his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Stanford University, Liu established a professional career bridging technical engineering and product strategy. Today, his primary investment focus centers on founders developing new artificial intelligence, data infrastructure, and developer tools.
