Tony Holt

Tony Holt is a Co-founder and Partner at Square Peg Capital, based in Sydney, Australia. Since establishing the venture capital firm in 2012, he has directed Series A and Series B investments across Australia, Israel, and Southeast Asia while serving as a Board Observer for select portfolio companies. Prior to launching Square Peg Capital, Holt worked at Macquarie Capital from 2008 to 2012. Before that, he served as a Managing Director at Citigroup from 2006 to 2008, where he headed the technology, media, and telecommunications investment banking group for the Australia and New Zealand markets. His background encompasses over 20 years of experience in the finance and technology sectors, including professional tenures in Melbourne, New York, Hong Kong, and Sydney. Holt currently focuses on providing venture capital to early-stage technology companies led by mission-driven founders.
