Tony Gu

Tony Gu is a Founding Partner and General Partner at NGC Ventures, a blockchain and Web3-focused venture capital firm based in Singapore. Prior to establishing this fund, he served as a General Partner at the cross-border buyout advisory firm Rhodium Capital, where he successfully led large-scale acquisition transactions across North Asian markets with a total deal value exceeding $1 billion. He previously worked as an advisor for the educational technology platform Cialfo and has directed institutional investments across the technology, financial services, and consumer sectors throughout his professional career. Gu holds dual Executive MBA degrees from INSEAD and Tsinghua University, alongside a master's degree in computer engineering and a bachelor's degree in computer science. His current investment focus primarily centers on advancing decentralized network solutions, modular blockchain infrastructure projects, and the broader Bitcoin ecosystem.
