Tono Mandly

Tono Mandly is the co-founder of the high-growth e-commerce venture Riogrande and is currently based in Mexico. Before entering the broader Latin American technology ecosystem, he studied in China and Finland and gained early financial experience working in mergers and acquisitions at Lazard Spain. He subsequently transitioned into the Latin American mobility sector, where he directed international expansion efforts for the Y Combinator-backed micro-mobility startup Grin Scooters. During his tenure, he successfully scaled the company's operational footprint across more than seven countries and twenty cities throughout the region. Mandly later co-founded Riogrande, another Y Combinator alumni company, which has successfully raised $29 million in institutional venture funding and generated over $20 million in revenue. His current professional focus remains centered on building, acquiring, and scaling next-generation direct-to-consumer brands within the Latin American market.
