Tonika Cheek Clayton is a Senior Advisor at McKinsey and Company and serves as a board director for Acelero Learning, the Dallas College Foundation, and St. Mark’s School of Texas. Before her venture capital career, Clayton spent eight years in executive operational leadership roles at Amplify Education, a digital curriculum developer. Her early professional experience includes working as a Business Development Coordinator for the National Basketball Association and as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School, where she also earned her MBA in General Management. Clayton leverages over two decades of experience to focus on growing and investing in education technology businesses that aim to improve learning outcomes in underserved communities.
