Tommy Hurley

Tommy Hurley is a Managing Partner at Shamrock Ventures, an independent early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Prior to joining the investment firm in 2019, he served as a Director of Product Management at Uber, where he directly led a 40-person engineering team and managed a core product portfolio generating $120 million in annual recurring revenue. He previously spent four years working as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs, focusing primarily on large-scale technology mergers, acquisitions, and initial public offerings. At Shamrock Ventures, Hurley has directed capital into more than 15 enterprise software startups, including early strategic allocations in financial technology companies like Stripe. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University and currently focuses his primary investment strategy on funding seed-stage artificial intelligence and financial technology infrastructure.
