Tomás Penaguião

Tomás Penaguião is a Partner at Bynd Venture Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Lisbon, Portugal. Since joining the organization, he has managed seed investments across the Iberian technology ecosystem, helping oversee a portfolio of more than 40 active startup companies. Penaguião evaluates pre-seed and seed funding rounds primarily within the consumer, digital, and sustainability sectors, allocating initial equity check sizes of up to €500,000. His venture capital track record includes backing recognizable regional technology startups such as Sensei and Casafari. Prior to his current partnership role, he completed his higher education at the Nova School of Business and Economics, establishing a strong foundation in corporate financial analysis. Penaguião currently focuses on deploying capital into emerging Iberian technology ventures while serving as a board observer and strategic advisor to multiple portfolio companies.
