Tom McQuillen

Tom McQuillen is a Principal at ReGen Ventures, which is Australia's first dedicated climate-tech venture capital firm, based in Lennox Head, New South Wales, Australia. Before transitioning to venture capital, he spent several years working as an operator for various early-stage technology startups across Australia and the United Kingdom. He initially began his professional career in management consulting and subsequently founded and operated an independent eco-tourism enterprise in Nicaragua. Following his time in Central America, he relocated to Oxford before returning to the Australian technology ecosystem. McQuillen also participated in the First Believer program at Startmate, a prominent startup accelerator that helped facilitate his shift into early-stage deep tech investing. Today, his primary investment focus centers on ambitious climate-tech and deep technology startups developing scalable solutions to achieve net-zero emissions and improve global living standards.
