Tom Jeong

Tom Jeong is the Cofounder of Datafruit, an artificial intelligence startup developing agentic tools for DevOps and enterprise software integration. Founded in 2025 and backed by Y Combinator, the four-employee company recently launched an AI DevOps Engineer designed to automate cloud infrastructure deployment and management through natural language processing. Prior to establishing Datafruit, Jeong worked on cloud infrastructure at Amazon and several high-growth technology startups. He studied computer science and theoretical mathematics at both the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley. During his academic tenure at Georgia Tech, he conducted research in quantitative risk analysis with a specific focus on LayerSkip architecture within Mixture of Experts large language models. His current professional focus centers on leveraging advanced machine learning architectures to build autonomous software agents that streamline complex cloud infrastructure operations.
