Tom Hughes is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DataScale, a B2B cloud infrastructure startup currently based in San Francisco, California. Previously, he served as a Senior Product Manager at Google, where he directed a 45-person global engineering team to launch three predictive analytics tools that generated $120 million in first-year recurring revenue. Before joining Google, Hughes spent four years as a Lead Software Engineer at Stripe, optimizing core payment processing algorithms that reduced transaction latency by 15 percent across their international platform. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and completed the Y Combinator accelerator program during the winter of 2019.
