Tom Hibbard

Tom Hibbard is a Principal at Fuel Ventures and the Head of Sales at FlatPeak. Before transitioning to venture capital, he founded ClaritEx, a SaaS platform for institutional fund cost analytics that was subsequently acquired by Nasdaq. Hibbard also served as the first business development and sales hire at Finbourne Technology, where he helped scale the company from pre-revenue to over £10 million in annual recurring revenue. In his investment career, he previously held a role at JOIN Capital before moving to Fuel Ventures in November 2023, where he leads the first-cheque fund and has completed more than 30 transactions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Exeter and a business degree from Grenoble Ecole de Management. Hibbard currently focuses on early-stage investments across European enterprise software, deeptech, and B2B SaaS sectors.
