Tom Goodrich is the Managing Director and co-founder of DAG Ventures, a venture capital investment firm he originally helped establish in 1991. Before launching DAG Ventures, he served as a Principal at Bechtel Investments, where he oversaw management buyouts and various special situation investments. His earlier career includes roles as co-founder and Vice President of Dimensional Corporate Finance, Inc., alongside consulting positions for the Chairman's office at Bank of America and the Stanford Research Institute. Throughout his extensive tenure in the venture capital industry, Goodrich has directed early and mid-stage investments across the technology and biotechnology sectors, backing companies such as Aoptix, Armo BioSciences, and Arresto BioSciences, which was later acquired by Gilead Sciences. Today, Goodrich maintains a primary focus on identifying and supporting high-growth technology and life sciences enterprises through ongoing strategic capital deployment.
