Tom Dyal

Tom Dyal is a Co-Founder and Partner Emeritus at Redpoint Ventures, a venture capital firm where he focuses on software, security, and consumer technology investments. Prior to establishing Redpoint, he served as a General Partner at Institutional Venture Partners from 1997 to 1999 and worked as the Director of Product Management at SynOptics Communications between 1992 and 1997. During his tenure at Redpoint, he co-managed the firm's growth investing practice for 15 years starting in 2007, backing prominent public technology companies including DraftKings, SentinelOne, and Clearwell Systems. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Today, Dyal leverages over two decades of institutional venture capital experience to support growth-stage enterprise software, cybersecurity, and consumer technology enterprises.
