Tom Drummond

Tom Drummond is the Managing Partner at pictured.vc, an early-stage deep tech investment fund based in London, England. Before transitioning to venture capital, he served as the Founder and CEO of Tractable, an artificial intelligence company for insurance claims that achieved a $1 billion valuation and exited to SoftBank. His earlier operational experience includes working as the CEO of the deep tech studio Exaptive and as an early engineer at QuantumBlack prior to its acquisition by McKinsey. Through pictured.vc, Drummond has executed over 20 investments, recently launching the firm's second fund with a $100 million target, while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of more than 50 angel investments. Holding an engineering degree from the University of Cambridge, his current professional focus centers on backing pre-seed and seed-stage startups across artificial intelligence, robotics, and enterprise software.
