Todd Masonis is the Co-founder of Dandelion Chocolate, a small-batch, bean-to-bar chocolate manufacturer based in San Francisco, California. After graduating from Stanford University with his degree in 2001, he entered the consumer technology sector by co-founding the online address-book service Plaxo alongside Cameron Ring and Sean Parker. During his tenure, the software platform successfully scaled to 20 million registered users and secured $28 million in venture funding. The technology company was subsequently acquired by Comcast in 2008 for a reported valuation between $150 million and $170 million. Following this successful exit, Masonis transitioned entirely from the software industry to artisanal food production by establishing a combined café and chocolate factory in San Francisco's Mission District. His current focus centers on disrupting the traditional sweets industry through craft manufacturing processes and utilizing simple ingredient formulations.
