Tobias Weidner

Tobias Weidner is a Germany-based Managing Director at Warburg Pincus, where he leads the European Industrials and Business Services investment team. Appointed in June 2024, he directs capital allocation for a sector group that has historically deployed over $20 billion across 126 companies globally, including assets like Duravant and TransDigm. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Weidner served as a Partner at Bain Capital, overseeing the firm's industrial technology, transportation, and aerospace and defense investments within the German market. Earlier in his career, he worked in management consulting at Boston Consulting Group and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, alongside a diploma from the Technical University of Munich.
