Tobias Voigt

Tobias Voigt is the Investment Director at Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS) and Head of Start-up Investments at MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen mbH, based in Dresden, Germany. Before joining MBG Sachsen in 2015, he worked in corporate business development at the Hamburg-based Rickmers Group and handled investor relations for the medical technology manufacturer Carl Zeiss Meditec AG. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from TU Ilmenau and completed his master's studies specializing in corporate development and innovation at TU Dresden and Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in Buenos Aires. In his current capacity, he oversees early-stage venture capital allocations for a third-generation regional fund that has backed more than 100 technology startups since its inception in 2008. Voigt primarily focuses on structuring seed financing and providing management support for deep-tech, software, and hardware companies operating throughout the Saxony region.
