Tobias Fischer

Tobias Fischer is the Cofounder and Technical Lead at Wardstone, an aerospace company focused on developing next-generation defense space technology. Prior to establishing Wardstone, he worked as a spacecraft engineer at Astranis, where he was directly involved in designing, building, launching, and operating commercial geostationary communication satellites. Fischer earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, where he gained early hands-on experience in aerospace hardware. During his academic tenure, he served as the Chief Spacecraft Engineer for a specialized lunar CubeSat mission developed by the university. This specific project was designed to demonstrate novel electric propulsion mechanisms and advanced navigation systems for small-scale orbital vehicles. His professional background centers on the end-to-end development of complex satellite systems, with a current focus on engineering advanced spacecraft hardware for modern defense applications.
