Tobia De Angelis

Tobia De Angelis is the Chairman of Epicode.com, a pan-European tech education platform, and is based in Rome, Lazio, Italy. Prior to his current role, he founded Strive School in 2019, an educational technology startup backed by the A16Z Scout Fund that trained over 2,000 students in software engineering before its exit. Following Epicode's acquisition of Strive School in July 2023, De Angelis transitioned to overseeing the combined entity's strategic direction, which now employs more than 500 people across seven countries. The LUISS University alumnus recently guided the company's 2024 expansion into the United Kingdom and Germany, followed by the launch of specialized artificial intelligence training tracks across its ten locations in 2025. His career remains focused on scaling non-traditional educational pathways and building robust technical talent pipelines for the European software sector.
