Timothy Wright is a General Partner at Time BioVentures based in California. He holds an MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and previously served as a tenured Associate Professor and Division Chief of Rheumatology at the University of Pittsburgh. Transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, Wright held research and development leadership roles at Pfizer from 2001 to 2004 and Novartis from 2004 to 2015, before joining Regulus Therapeutics. Throughout his career, he has guided the development of more than 20 breakthrough pharmaceuticals, including 10 blockbuster drugs that each generated over $1 billion in annual sales. He currently serves on the board of directors for Schrödinger and ENYO Pharma, and previously held a board position at CureVac. Wright focuses on biotech investment, translational medicine, and drug commercialization across the broader life sciences sector.
