Timothy Seto

Timothy Seto is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Forge Automation, an industrial manufacturing startup that produces custom metal components directly from CAD files. He formally established the company immediately after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a degree in engineering during the summer of 2022. Prior to launching this enterprise, Seto accumulated more than ten years of practical experience working as a machinist specializing in complex hardware fabrication and mechanical systems. His professional background includes specialized engineering internships at several prominent consumer technology and robotics companies, completing technical hardware development roles at Apple, Formlabs, and iRobot. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has maintained a strong technical interest in building advanced robots and automated machines. Seto currently focuses on integrating his extensive machining expertise with modern robotics to streamline the traditional metal manufacturing sector.
