Timothy Mills

Timothy Mills is the Managing Partner at ACF Investors, an early-stage venture capital firm he established and launched in 2011. Before leading his current firm, he spent ten years serving as an Investment Director at the British Business Bank until 2018, where he backed successful venture fund managers across the United Kingdom. His earlier financial career includes roles in investment banking and a UK hedge fund, starting as an analyst at Merrill Lynch before advancing to Associate Vice President within its technology group. He subsequently gained institutional experience at Barclays Capital and a credit analytics consultancy, complementing an academic foundation that includes an engineering degree and an MBA from Manchester Business School. Mills currently focuses his professional efforts on early-stage venture capital investments, partnering directly with sector-focused angel investors to fund and scale emerging private companies.
