Timothy Marx

Timothy Marx is a Venture Partner at Baird Capital based in Houston, Texas, where he advises on venture investments across the healthcare and technology sectors. Before joining the firm in September 2018, he spent seventeen years at The Boston Consulting Group, serving as a Partner and Managing Director. Alongside his primary venture capital role, Marx serves as an Investment Committee member for the Texas Medical Center Venture Fund and advises early-stage companies, including the Houston-based blockchain startup Topl. His academic background includes an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in finance from The Pennsylvania State University, complemented by a 2000 Fulbright Scholarship in Mexico.
