Tim Van Treuren

Tim Van Treuren is the Principal of New Ventures at Bios Partners, a life sciences venture capital firm based in Fort Worth, Texas. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with an emphasis on cancer biology from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where he accumulated eight years of hands-on laboratory research experience in cellular processes. Joining Bios Partners in 2019, he manages deal flow and leads scientific due diligence for a firm that has executed over 30 investments across North America and Europe. In addition to his core investment responsibilities, he serves on the board of directors for Bobcat Bio and has previously lectured on responsible scientific research at Dallas Baptist University. His current professional focus centers on early-stage to growth-stage biotechnology investments, specifically targeting oncology therapeutics and medical devices.
