Tim Schlidt

Tim Schlidt is the Co-founder and Partner at Palo Santo VC, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York, New York. He established the investment vehicle in 2020 to fund healthcare companies developing emerging psychedelic therapies for mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, addiction, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Before launching Palo Santo VC, Schlidt worked as an investor in the private equity sector, where he evaluated complex financial transactions and gained foundational experience in institutional asset management. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Wisconsin School of Business in 2015, where he was an active member of the university's Investment Banking Club. Today, his primary professional focus remains on directing venture capital toward innovative biotechnology startups that are modernizing psychiatric treatments and addressing the global mental health crisis.
