Tim Boire

Tim Boire is the co-founder, President, and CEO of VenoStent, Inc., a medical technology company based in Houston, Texas. Before establishing the company, he worked as a Research Associate at Genzyme from 2008 to 2011 and participated as an Entrepreneurial Lead in the NSF I-Corps program. Boire earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Tufts University before completing his Master of Science and PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University. Under his leadership, VenoStent secured a $16 million Series A funding round in 2023 to advance its clinical pipeline. The enterprise is currently preparing for a 200-patient clinical trial in the United States, targeting a commercial product launch in 2026. His current focus centers on developing bioresorbable vascular wraps designed to improve surgical outcomes for hemodialysis access and peripheral bypass procedures.
