Tim Babcock

Tim Babcock is an Operating Partner focused on go-to-market and sales at Amplify Partners, based in Madison, Connecticut. Before joining the venture capital firm, he served as Vice President at Domino Data Lab, where he successfully scaled revenue tenfold and managed a team of over 50 employees across sales, technical sales, business development, and customer success. Previously, Babcock held the position of Vice President of Sales at Platfora, guiding the enterprise software company through its acquisition by Workday in mid-2016. He also led sales operations at Wibidata and has a demonstrated track record of scaling startup revenue from $2 million to over $40 million throughout his career. The Clemson University graduate currently focuses on advising early-stage technical founders on organizational design, sales hiring, and customized revenue strategies for disruptive enterprise data products.
