Tiger Shen

Tiger Shen is the Managing Partner at Welcome Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Before co-founding Welcome Ventures, he worked at Founders Fund and served as an investor at Hustle Fund. Shen currently manages over $100 million in assets under management and has built a portfolio of more than 50 companies, which includes notable exits such as Notion and Brex. In March 2025, he led a $5 million seed funding round for the artificial intelligence startup LangChain, and he recently spoke at TechCrunch Disrupt regarding emerging AI investing trends. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University. Shen leverages his technical and financial background to focus his current investments on pre-seed and seed-stage startups across the AI, fintech, developer tools, and consumer internet sectors globally.
