Ticiano Vieira

Ticiano Vieira is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Facio, a financial technology company based in São Paulo, Brazil. He established the startup to provide salary advances and payroll credit alternatives for underserved workers, subsequently guiding the firm through the Y Combinator Winter 2020 batch and securing seed investment from Monashees. Prior to launching Facio, Vieira served as the Head of Finance for Brazil at SumUp, where he was responsible for building the regional financial infrastructure. His earlier career spans over a decade of corporate experience, including analytical, pricing, and supply chain management roles at Whirlpool Corporation, following his graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from UFSCar. Vieira currently focuses on expanding alternative credit availability for Brazilian consumers who maintain steady employment and incomes but lack adequate access to traditional banking and financial services.
