Thomas Zimpfer

Thomas Zimpfer is the Managing Director at B&C Innovation Investments, based in Vienna, Austria. He brings over two decades of experience in finance and technology, having previously held investment and corporate strategy roles at Erste Group Bank after studying business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. In his current executive position, he oversees a portfolio of more than 20 early-stage venture capital investments, including a recent 2024 allocation into the artificial intelligence startup Pollen Robotics. His track record features notable transactions such as the 2021 acquisition of portfolio company Bitmovin by Accedo, alongside collaborations with regional firms like Speedinvest. Following his appointment to expanded board roles in 2022, Zimpfer currently focuses on bridging corporate strategy with entrepreneurial growth across the European deep tech, software, healthtech, financial technology, and industrial technology sectors.
