Thomas Weilby Knudsen

Thomas Weilby Knudsen is a General Partner and Co-Founder at NorthCap Partners, a venture capital firm of eight professionals operating within the BankInvest Group based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Before transitioning to the venture capital sector in 2002, he founded an early SaaS business in 1996 that eventually scaled to reach 200,000 subscribers across four different countries. He subsequently held senior management positions at major telecommunications providers TDC and Cybercity, a Telenor subsidiary, where he directed the Managed Services business unit and built new divisions. Holding a master's degree in economics from the University of Aarhus, he has served on the boards of multiple technology companies, including IntelePeer, Kapow Technologies, Nangate, and Octoshape. Drawing on over two decades of industry experience, his current focus centers on leading investment and operational strategies for European information technology, telecommunications, and internet ventures.
