Thomas Schranz

Thomas Schranz is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Rakun, an accessibility technology startup currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. At Rakun, he leads the technical development of specialized software tools designed to assist individuals navigating complex travel logistics with hidden disabilities. Prior to his current venture, Schranz co-founded Dvel, a technology company focused on chatbot development, and previously launched an independent coffee startup operating in the consumer goods sector. His academic background includes studies in Sociology at the University of Vienna and coursework in Software and Information Engineering at TU Wien before ultimately leaving both European institutions to pursue early-stage entrepreneurship. Schranz's professional background centers on leveraging software engineering to build early-stage technology companies from the ground up, with a current operational focus on creating accessible digital infrastructure for underserved consumer demographics.
