Thomas Dullien

Thomas Dullien is currently a Venture Partner at eCAPITAL Entrepreneurial Partners AG, where he focuses on early to growth-stage technology investments. He previously founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Zynamics, a reverse engineering firm that was acquired by Google in 2011. Following the acquisition, Dullien worked as a Software Engineer for Google Project Zero and received the Pwnie Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015 for his contributions to vulnerability research. In January 2019, he co-founded and acted as CEO of optimyze.cloud AG, a cloud computing efficiency startup that was subsequently acquired by Elastic. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his technical expertise, winning the German IT Security Award in 2006. Holding a Master of Science in Mathematics from Ruhr University Bochum, Dullien centers his professional focus on cybersecurity, cloud economics, and software optimization.
